Une nouvelle opportunité s’est ouverte pour la jeunesse africaine d’entrer sur le marché mondial sans la barrière linguistique de l’anglais, grâce au projet « Éducation, formation et emploi » d’EB2A-AMERICA LLC (Education Without Borders Africa Abroad) en partenariat avec l’English Language. Centre (ELC) à Lomé.

On this day, July 20, 2024, at around 3:30 pm, the first students in this initiative received their diploma in Applied American English. This first class is made up of fourteen students: Adjo Bella AGBODJAN, Véga AMEGNAGLO, Koko Nadège DOKOUVI, Kokou ATCHOU, Afi Odette DAGBA, Kokou Dieu-souverain SOUKA, Gnime-Réwa Jacqueline TCHONDA, Shalom Koffi Renaud Kobayili AGBENYA, Akouto Essenam EDOH, Akpene Amivi DAGBA épse SOKOMBA, Akuvi Xolali AFETSE épse AFFO, Lolonyo Kokou Aimé ATIKESSE, Yawa Etonam Carole ATIKESSE and Kossi Evenunye VIDEKE
They were trained by Professor Austen Ezeifedi, one of rhe experts of English Language Center’s (ELC).
The ceremony was introduced by Aku Senam Rose AMEVOR, and among the winners, spokesperson Adjo Bella AGBODJAN expressed her gratitude to the project initiators and the center, as did Akpene Amivi DAGBA épse SOKOMBA and Kossi Evenunye VIDEKE alias Thierry VIDEKE at the microphone of TVT (Togolese National Television) for the news broadcast.

EB2A-AMERICA LLC’s project is also working to establish partnerships with American companies ready to welcome qualified Togolese workers. By contributing her expertise and commitment.
‘My goal is to give Togolese and Africans in general, the linguistic and cultural tools they need to not only travel, but succeed and thrive in the United States” explains Dianna enthusiastically.
For four months, the students underwent intensive training with the aim of opening up opportunities in Togo, Africa and the rest of the world. According to Kodjo Senena KPADE, Managing Director of ELC Lomé, companies, banks, foreign ministries and international organizations are now looking for well-trained bilingual employees. This initiative is designed to help Togolese youth land job offers and succeed in recruitment both here and abroad.
Atiota Karé SOKOMBA alias Paul SOKOMBA, Human Resources Director and one of the promoters of this initiative explained that the aim of this project is to help African youth integrate into the international job market. He stressed the importance of mastering English to benefit from international opportunities. The program is open to all social strata, including apprentices, businessmen, workers in the informal sector, young and old, as well as those who have already studied English.
